Kathmandu, Oct 16: SAARC secretary-general Mohammad Golam Sarwar had a farewell call on Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, on Friday.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Khanal and secretary-general Sarwar exchanged views on further highlighting the significance of SAARC and bolstering regional cooperation. They also discussed the need for enhancing regional collaboration in addressing climate change and enabling efforts for disaster preparedness and response. 
Minister Khanal commended Sarwar for his contribution to reinforcing SAARC's institutional development and promoting regional collaboration, it is said.
