Kapilvastu, Aug 24: Police have detained five women who were transporting hashish and opium from Krishnanagar to India. 
During a regular patrol in the old bus park area of Krishnanagar municipality-2, the police detained five individuals who were traveling from Nepal to India, with 15 kg of drugs. 
Police reported the seizure of 5 kilos and 225 grams of a black, viscous substance resembling hashish, along with 10 kg of a similar substance believed to be opium. 
Furthermore, five mobile phones were confiscated from them. The arrested individuals include Rajita Rokay and Bimala Pun from Dang, Panisara Saru and Nansari Gharti Magar from Kapilvastu, and Chuma Lamichhane from Parsa. 
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ripendra Kumar Singh from the District Police Office shared that an investigation is underway concerning the drug-related offenses.
