Kathmandu, Aug 15: House of Representatives (HoR) Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has expressed his full commitments to the preservation and promotion of literature, art and culture, describing them as national treasurers. 
Addressing an awards ceremony organised here on Saturday by the Noor- Ganga Talent Award ( Pratibha Puraskar) Guthi, the Speaker said the preservation and promotion of the country's literature, art and culture is a shared responsibility. 
According to him, Nepal has earned recognition in the global arena for its language, literature, art and culture and it is essential to promote and honour the talents from these areas. "Our language and literature are integral to our identity."
The Speaker was of the view that talents and writers who remain unrecognized in different parts of the country should be identified and given national recognition. 
Guthi Chair Pro Dr Govinda Nepali said the organization has been actively working for the development and promotion of Nepali literature.
