Trishuli (Nuwakot), Oct 3: Families of the government employees who died and went missing in the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli flood disaster were provided with a monetary aid of Rs 25,000 each. 
The assistance amount was handed to them at a programme organised at Bidur on Saturday. The support was provided by the Government Employees' Society, Nuwakot. 
According to Society chair Uday Bahadur Ranamagar, total 20 government employees hailing from Nuwakot died and went missing. Among them, the families of 11 were provided with the monetary assistance on Saturday.  The remaining families will be visited at their convenient locations with the relief, said Society treasurer Krishna Raj Khatiwada.   
He added that 83 government employees who are associated with the Society contributed to manage the fund of Rs 290,000 and the Society added Rs 200,000 to it for assisting the disaster surviving families, said Society member Prakash Silwal.
