General convention is forum for dialogue on party's present, future: Leader Bhusal
Kathmandu, Oct 4: Nepali Congress Vice-President Pushpa Bhusal has said that the 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress has become a forum to hold serious discussion and dialogue about party's present and future.
At the inaugural session of the 15th General Convention that began here today, Vice-President Bhusal underlined that the NC, which did a long struggle for democracy, should determine a road to future by reviewing its present situation. She mentioned that this general convention is not only for post management and leadership selection, but an opportunity for all who believe in democracy and NC to self-review the party's situation.
Similarly, NC Kathmandu President Sabuj Krishna Baniya viewed that the 15th general convention would give a new impetus to the party.
Earlier, NC President Gagan Kumar Thapa inaugurated the general convention.
