15th general convention will rejuvenate party: general-Secretary Ghimire
Kathmandu, Oct 4: Nepali Congress General-Secretary Guru Raj Ghimire has asserted that the 15th general convention of the party would rejuvenate the party.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the NC's general-convention that began here today, Ghimire stressed that the general-convention would pass on the leadership to the next generation by rejuvenating the party. He mentioned that the NC has entered a new phase by keeping the nation and people in political centre.
A new policy and programme would be introduced through the general convention to give a clear direction to the nation.
The NC General-Secretary emphasized that the NC would take the party ahead in a new way in accordance with the changing context. "The NC aims to materialize BP Koirala's dream as well as make the country and people happy, well-off and prosperous and enhance nation's prestige," opined Ghimire.
