Kathmandu, Aug 11: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has expressed condolences on the passing of Mira Rajbhandari Amatya, its former central audit committee member.

A family source on Monday declared that Rajbhandari passed away in the United States early in January this year while undergoing treatment.

In a press release issued today, FNJ General Secretary Ram Prasad Dahal expressed sorrow over journalist Rajbhandari's death and extended condolences to the bereaved family.

Rajbhandari, who has contributed to journalism for a long time, has been writing about social and cultural topics.
